Formed in late 2023, the Bern-based trio brings together longtime friends Lily Lord (guitar/vocals), Gaia Geier (drums/vocals), and bassist Jakob Ferber. Their musical chemistry reflects a shared commitment to experimentation, songwriting, and the freedom of making music without chasing perfection. Following the EPs Snake Charmer (2024) and Serpent’s Prayer (2025), the album marks a new chapter in their evolving identity.
Across eight tracks, BIRDLORD examine humanity’s growing distance from nature, alongside uncertainty, inner conflict, and the need for reconnection. Beneath the weight of these themes lies a hopeful perspective: healing begins through care, friendship, and renewed attention to the world around us. For BIRDLORD, loud amplifiers become more than an outlet—they open space for reflection, discovery, and shared experience.
Swiss rock trio BIRDLORD invite listeners into a world of psychedelic textures, dreamlike atmospheres, and expansive rock arrangements with their debut album, Dreams Lie In The Eagles Eye, arriving September 25, 2026, via Argonauta Records. Blending progressive rock, fuzz, and psychedelia, the band builds a sound that encourages immersion, allowing layered instrumentation and shifting sonic landscapes to guide the listener beyond the ordinary.
